Buddy Herring of the MGHerring Group, Uptown Village Store Manager Norine Bowen and Cedar Hill Mayor Rob Franke all spoke at the grand opening the morning of March 12. The event went off pretty much without a hitch, except for a post-ribbon cutting balloon launch that had a balky balloon net that didn’t want to open.
Speaking of opening, a few stores’ openings have been delayed, most notably Barnes & Noble. The book seller will not move from its current location until sometime in April.
